जटाकटाहसम्भ्रमभ्रमन्निलिम्पनिर्झरी_
विलोलवीचिवल्लरीविराजमानमूर्धनि ।
धगद्धगद्धगज्जलल्ललाटपट्टपावके
किशोरचन्द्रशेखरे रतिः प्रतिक्षणं मम ॥
English Translation
As the rows of waves of the sacred Ganga move through Lord Shiva’s matted hair, it glorifies His Head, The waves of the river flow into the depths of His locks of hair, A brilliant fire burns on the surface of Lord Shiva’s forehead, And the crescent moon is a jewel on His Head. (May we find constant joy in Him!)
Hindi Translation
जैसे ही पवित्र गंगा की लहरों की पंक्तियाँ भगवान शिव की
जटाओं से होकर गुजरती हैं, यह उनके सिर की महिमा करती हैं,
नदी की लहरें उसके बालों की जटाओं की गहराई में बहती हैं,
भगवान शिव के माथे की सतह पर एक तेज अग्नि जलती है,
और अर्धचंद्र उसके सिर का रत्न है।(हमें उसमें निरंतर आनंद मिले!)
