Happy Republic Day

We celebrate 26 January as a national festival. This 26 January is the 77th Republic Day of India. The Indian National Flag is hoisted by the President of India on this day and after that the national anthem is sung in a collective standing position. In the capital Delhi, this festival is celebrated with a special ceremony. Lakhs of people from all over India gather to see this festival. The parade starting from Vijay Chowk to the Red Fort is the main attraction of this ceremony.Along with social and religious festivals in our country, there are some festivals which are symbols of our national struggle, national consciousness and awakening.

26 जनवरी को हम एक राष्ट्रीय पर्व के रूप में मनाते हैं । इस 26 जनवरी को भारत का 77वां गणतंत्र दिवस है। 26 जनवरी को गणतंत्र दिवस समारोह पर भारत के राष्ट्रपति द्वारा भारतीय राष्ट्र ध्वज को फहराया जाता हैं और इसके बाद सामूहिक रूप में खड़े होकर राष्ट्रगान गाया जाता है। राजधानी दिल्ली में यह पर्व विशेष समारोह के साथ मनाया जाता है । पूरे भारत से लाखों की संख्या में लोग इस उत्सव को देखने के लिए एकत्रित होते हैं । विजय चौक से प्रारम्भ होकर लाल किले तक जाने वाली परेड इस समारोह का मुख्य आकर्षण होती है । हमारे देश में सामाजिक एवं धार्मिक त्योहारों के साथ-साथ कुछ ऐसे त्योहार भी हैं, जो हमारे राष्ट्रीय संघर्ष, राष्ट्रीय चेतना एवं जागरण के प्रतीक हैं ।

उत्तरं यत्समुद्रस्य हिमाद्रेश्चैव दक्षिणम्।
वर्षं तद्भारतं नाम भारती यत्र सन्ततिः।।
English Translation
The country that lies north of the ocean, and south of the snowy mountains, is called Bhárata, for there dwelt the descendants of Bharata.
Hindi Translation
जो समुद्र के उत्तर तथा हिमालय के दक्षिण में स्थित है, वह देश भारतवर्ष कहलाता है। उसमें भरत की संतान बसी हुई है।

Unity is the strength of society and in its absence it is weak. Therefore those who strongly seek the welfare of the nation praise unity

English Translation
Only after waking up to virtue after hundreds of births, one gets birth in the form of a human on the land of India.

सैंकड़ों जन्मों के पश्चात् पुण्य जागने पर ही किसी को भारत की भूमि पर मनुष्ये के रूप में जन्म मिलता है।
