Chanakya Neeti 8.14

क्रोधो वैवस्वतो राजा तृष्णा वैतरणी नदी ।
विद्या कामदुधा धेनुः संतोषो नन्दनं वनम् ॥
English Translation
Anger is a personification of Yama (the demigod of death); Thirst is like the hellish river Vaitarani; Knowledge is like a Kamadhenu (the cow of plenty), and Contentment is like Nandanavana (the garden of Indra).
Hindi Translation
क्रोध साक्षात् यम है। तृष्णा नरक की ओर ले जाने वाली वैतरणी है। ज्ञान कामधेनु है और संतोष ही तो नंदनवन है।
