यः सदा सद्गुरुदेवपादः पनीयः सदा तन्मयवाक्यसुधः ।
सेव्यः सदा तत्क्षणसंनिधिव्यः स्मर्ते यदा तत्क्षणमेव मुक्तिः ॥
English Translation
One should always meditate upon the feet of the Guru. One should always drink the nectar of the Guru's words. One should always seek the company of the Guru. Liberation comes the moment one remembers the Guru.
Hindi Translation
गुरुदेव के चरणों का ध्यान सदा करना चाहिए, उनके वचनों के अमृत को सदा पीना चाहिए। उनकी संगति में रहने का सदा प्रयास करना चाहिए। जिस क्षण गुरु की याद आती है, उसी क्षण मुक्ति मिलती है।

गुरुणां विद्यां शिष्यांश्च सर्वभूतानि संश्रयेत्॥
English Translation
Meditate on the Guru at the beginning, middle, and end.
Obtain knowledge from the Guru and seek their guidance for the welfare of all beings.

शुरुआत में, मध्यमें और अंत में गुरु की पूजा करें।
गुरु के द्वारा विद्या प्राप्त करें और उनसे सब प्राणियों की रक्षा कराएं॥

निवर्तयत्यन्यजनं प्रमादतः स्वयं च निष्पापपथे प्रवर्तते।
गुणाति तत्त्वं हितमिच्छुरंगिनाम् शिवार्थिनां यः स गुरु र्निगद्यते।।
English Translation
He turns others away from negligence and himself follows the path of innocence. He who qualifies the truth, who desires the welfare of the devotees and seeks auspiciousness, is said to be the spiritual master. Those who prevent others from praising themselves, walk in a sinless way themselves, and give Tattvabodh to the one who desires welfare and well-being, are called Gurus.

जो दूसरों को प्रमाद करने से रोकते हैं, स्वयं निष्पाप रास्ते से चलते हैं, हित और कल्याण की कामना रखनेवाले को तत्त्वबोध करते हैं, उन्हें गुरु कहते हैं।
Guru Purnima, the day of worship of teachers and gurus, will be celebrated on the full moon day of the month of Ashadha. On this day, people pay respect to their gurus, who can be a spiritual guide or someone else who has enlightened others with their knowledge and teachings. The word 'Guru' is derived from the Sanskrit words "gu" and "ru", meaning one who dispels darkness and produces light.

गुरु पूर्णिमा, शिक्षकों और गुरुओं की पूजा का दिन,आषाढ़ माह की पूर्णिमा के दिन मनाया जाएगा। इस दिन, लोग अपने गुरुओं का सम्मान करते हैं, जो एक आध्यात्मिक मार्गदर्शक हो सकते हैं या कोई और जिसने अपने ज्ञान और शिक्षाओं से दूसरों को प्रबुद्ध किया है। 'गुरु' शब्द संस्कृत के शब्द "गु" और "रु" से बना है, जिसका अर्थ है वह जो अंधकार को दूर करता है और प्रकाश उत्पन्न करता है।

अखण्ड मंडलाकारं व्याप्तं येन चराचरं |
तत्पदं दर्शितं येन तस्मै श्री गुरुवे नम : ||
English Translation
The one who is unbroken, is absorbed in the whole universe, which is in constant flux, who manifests in me the elemental form of that (Lord) and gives me a visible vision, I bow to those guru.
Hindi Translation
जो अखण्ड है, सकल ब्रह्माण्ड में समाया है, चर-अचर में तरंगित है, उस (प्रभु) के तत्व रूप को जो मेरे भीतर प्रकट कर मुझे साक्षात दर्शन करा दे, उन गुरु को मेरा शत शत नमन है |
