हनुमान्जनसुनुर्वायुपुत्रो महाबलः ।
रामेष्टः फाल्गुनसखः पिङ्गाक्षोऽमितविक्रमः ॥
उद्धिक्रमणश्चैव सीताशोकविनाशनः ।
लक्ष्मणप्राणदाताश्च दशग्रीवस्य दर्पहा
English Translation
Hanuman was the son of Jana and the son of the wind and was very powerful He is dear to Rama and a friend of Arjuna He has yellow eyes and immeasurable prowess Uddhikramana and the destruction of Sita’s grief. They gave life to Lakshmana and destroyed the pride of the tenheaded Ravana
Hindi Translation
हनुमान जनपुत्र और पवनपुत्र थे और बहुत शक्तिशाली थे
वह राम के प्रिय और अर्जुन के मित्र हैं,
उनकी आंखें पीली हैं और उनका पराक्रम अतुलनीय है
उदधिक्रमण तथा सीता के दुःख का निवारण |
उन्होंने लक्ष्मण को जीवनदान दिया और
दस सिर वाले रावण का घमंड नष्ट कर दिया
