उग्रं वीरं महाविष्णुं ज्वलन्तं सर्वतोमुखम्।
नृसिंहं भीषणं भद्रं मृत्युर्मृत्युं नमाम्यहम्॥
English Translation
I bow to Lord Narasimha — the fierce, heroic, blazing form of Mahavishnu, terrible to the wicked, auspicious to the devotees, the death of death itself.
Hindi Translation
मैं उस उग्र, वीर, महाविष्णु (नरसिंह) को नमस्कार करता हूँ, जो सब दिशाओं में प्रज्वलित हैं,
जो भीषण (भयानक) और भद्र (कल्याणकारी) हैं, और मृत्यु के भी मृत्यु हैं।
