श्रीगुरु चरन सरोज रज, निज मनु मुकुरु सुधारि ।
बरनऊँ रघुबर बिमल जसु, जो दायकु फल चारि ॥
बुद्धिहीन तनु जानिके, सुमिरौं पवन कुमार ।
बल बुद्धि विद्या देहु मोहि, हरहु कलेश विकार ॥
English Translation
I cleanse the mirror of my mind with the dust of my Guru’s lotus feet,
and then describe the pure glory of Lord Rama,
which bestows the four fruits of life (dharma, artha, kama, and moksha).
Knowing myself to be ignorant, I remember Hanuman, the son of the Wind God.
Grant me strength, wisdom, and knowledge,
and remove my sufferings and imperfections.
Hindi Translation
गुरु के चरण कमलों की धूल से मैं अपने मन के दर्पण को शुद्ध करता हूँ और रघुवंश के श्रेष्ठ श्री राम चंद्र की पवित्र महिमा का वर्णन करता हूँ। वे चारों पुण्य सिद्धियों के दाता हैं। मैं अपने आप को अज्ञानी जानता हूँ, हे हनुमान, पवन पुत्र! हे प्रभु! कृपा करके मुझे शक्ति, बुद्धि और ज्ञान प्रदान करें और मेरे सभी दुखों और दोषों को दूर करें।
